Hello.

I'm Randy. I’ve spent my life helping people turn ideas into media and events that  entertain, inform, and educate through video and photo production, systems design, creative strategy, and collaborative storytelling. This portfolio offers a look at the work I do, the systems I build around it, and the thinking that drives both. I'm glad you're here!

Randy Esulto About Me

About Me

I grew up visiting my dad’s videography studio — playing with cameras, experimenting with the gear, and watching him turn his creative skills into a business. That early exposure taught me the language of production, and planted something deeper: a sense that with the right tools and a little grit, you could build something of your own.

Since then, I’ve created photography, video, and livestream broadcasts for corporate events, entertainment venues, nonprofits, museums, and cultural organizations — including extensive work with aerial cinematography and drone photography. I was among the first people in the U.S. to become FAA-certificated for commercial drone operation, and later developed VOLO, a VR drone experience exploring flight, immersion, and spatial storytelling. I’ve also created performance-based media for live music events, projection installations for museums, and visual content for national broadcast — including performing as the first-ever Video DJ on MTV’s Total Request Live.

Today, I serve as the Director of Video & Media Production at SAR Academy, a co-educational Modern-Orthodox Jewish day school in New York. In that role, I oversee hundreds of media projects each year — producing, shooting, and editing video content; photographing school-wide events; designing AV systems; and building creative workflows that support our team’s mission. I get to use the full range of my skills every day, and I believe deeply in the work we do.

And outside of that work, I’m always open to thoughtful collaborations — especially projects that bring meaningful stories to life through strong visuals, smart systems, or creative problem-solving. If something here resonates and you think we’d work well together; reach out. I’d love to hear what you’re building.
